About Catherine Bays

With many years of classical ballet training and some years of professional performing experience on the "big" stage, Catherine returned to her comfort zone in non-profit performing arts management when she became the Annual Giving Manager for The Rep. Catherine's bio is full of all things ballet - her personal training, certifications, performing, teaching, raising funds for new works, organizing huge casts of children and their parents with a sense of humor. What may not be apparent reading between the lines is her passion for the invaluable, rich heritage that comes from a community that actively supports the arts. Catherine believes that everyone can be changed, even in some small way, by seeing dance, hearing music, watching live theater, and studying art. Catherine is reminded daily that everything good in life can be found by watching her favorite ballets or musicals with her family!
